The North West Ambulance Service says paramedics have treated eight patients with stab injuries.

The victims have been taken to Alder Hey Children’s Hospital, Aintree University Hospital and Southport and Formby Hospital, it says in a statement.

This sounds absolutely horrendous. Seen reports of up to 15 children stabbed with one confirmed dead. How can anybody do such a thing to defenceless children. Pure Evil.
