Anyone know if this bus service is continuing next season?
I'd be surprised if the Bury/Radcliffe bus does, it was always empty when I saw it. Probably because it was priced wrong, £8 on the bus or £5 on the tram from the same stop doesn't make sense even factoring in the 'directness' of the bus. The quick departure after the game killed the idea for me, too. I still think shuttle buses running from Queens Road (Bury met line) > Central Park (Rochdale line) > Etihad > Ashburys (train) makes the most sense, £2 each way.Anyone know if this bus service is continuing next season?

Yeah. I’ve emailed them today for an updateThe email from City today about 14 matches has links to transport etc but it’s still talking about last seasons Matchday buses, my guess is they’ll not announce anything until middle of august.
They'll be carrying it on.Yeah. I’ve emailed them today for an update
Me too! I’ve emailed the clubI'm waiting on news of the Macc bus....
Well done. Pls let me/ us know when you get any news. XMe too! I’ve emailed the club
That definitely sounds bad & I’ve not had a reply from the club - they usually respond quickly to emailsChecked my stop in Sale Moor and the City Bus number has been removed. Not looking great tbh
I only used it for one way travel into the ground for the last 2-3 games of last season, but instantly loved it. Although the last stop, always room to find a seat, if it turned up early it waited until the correct time to depart, so you could rely on it being there and I was looking forward to using it for return trips this year from our first home game. That definitely sounds bad & I’ve not had a reply from the club - they usually respond quickly to emails
I was hoping they'd expand the routes and pass by my front door this season.Checked my stop in Sale Moor and the City Bus number has been removed. Not looking great tbh
I wonder wh they never did a bus from Bolton, seems lots of blues in that area
We don’t know what’s happening yet. For sure, some buses had very few people on them but others were ok. Let’s hope they continueIf they stop this service then that’s pretty poor from the club. These things take time to introduce and for people to get into the swing of using them.
Unless things are making a profit they’re not interested it seems.
