FDJ available again it seems? Cancelo and some money for Frenkie? And before anyone says it i know how high is wages are currently! lol I`m sure that was due to deferring some though wasnt it to help Barca for a period of time? Anyhow, we make him our best offer and its up to him to accept it? Still think he would ball under Pep!

Again? they'll never shift this kid lol

If FDJ is available and we can make it work then we have to explore it. Especially with Jose wanting Kovacic. FDJ would be ideal in the 6/8 role
he is on 600k per week tho.
Only one who could pay that is Saudi

This is the only reason Barca wants to offload him, big wages + also Barca owns him a few millions.

Have Atletico got any players we would actually find useful?
depends

Molina is a decent RB, Vermeeren is the next superstar it seems, Omorodion is also seems like he will be quite capable striker, although i doubt he is or will be City level

They were good in the first half and dropped off significantly in the second
Love Vinny but it’s still way too early to say how good he is as a manager
Has a lot to do with who has played... Had Müller back who is a master in organizing the press and Kimmich shared the midfield with Pavlovic - the four midfielders (2 6s and 2 10s) of the first half where classes on the ball better than what followed in the second half. Müller and Kimmich had two team trainings (one of the day of the flight, one after arrival) with Kompany before that. Kimmich and Pavlo never played together on the 6.

To be good as a manager has to do a lot with knowing what you can do with your players, too. Not to press them in "your" system but adapt what you want to see to your players.

De Jong is yesterday’s man. Stayed at Barcelona too long and he has been going backwards for years.
Nonsense. The squad he plays for has been going backwards and he's been caught in the riptide. Turned 27 in May. I've never been on the FDJ bandwagon but at this time in his career and where we currently stand in terms of our 6s and 8s (so please no one bring up Bobb, Doku, MacAtee, Savinho, Grealish, Alvarez etc.) he would be a big addition. There's no way he doesn't improve the current group of Phil, KDB, Rodri, Bernardo, Kova, Nunes, Rico, O'Reilly and Phillips...He can easily deputize for Rodri as well as play along side of him or a bit advanced as an 8...
