No it doesn’t? Alvarez got 11 goals last season in the prem? Eze got 11 goals in the prem for palace. that’s wasn’t a one off either your just replacing output for output
Yes I am sure that's exactly how football works. That, combined with reading on twitter last year that we were briefly maybe interested in him, than clinging onto that all this time.

It will be madness to not bring a hybrid midfielder in imo. The jump for the youngsters to do it week in week out and the champions league would be too much in one go imo.

We don't need Eze we don't need to replace alvarez, we promote Bobb to secon striker, we keep McAtee.
We go for a Wharton or Scott if we are doing homegrown, proved ready enough to deputise/play alongside rodri and young enpouh for Pep to mould into all rounders
We have stones and Rico doing the hybrid midfield role already

I think our incomings this season is already finished. I’ll be pretty shocked if we actually go out and buy a midfielder. Pep said Mcatee and O’reilly are first team options now so that rules out signings for me.

They were good in the first half and dropped off significantly in the second

Rodri will play most games and we have Kovacic silva O'Reily who can fill in! Unless it's Bruno keep what we have because we could end up with another Philips or a Nunes and waste 50m+

I rather our club to find the right profile player to be cover for Rodri even if we have to wait for next year to do so than buying for the sake of buying which only make almost people in here will be bitching again of why the fuck we buy this player x in the first place.

NopeNico O'Reilly. Even at a stretch Kalvin Phillips. Wharton would be a waste of money.

Admittedly he praised O’Reilly and as much as I rate him, I don’t know how many minutes he’ll actually get next season, same with McAtee
Looks like Bernardo is nailed on for CM and he is virtually unstoppable for Guardiola

Even if we did bring him right now, there's no guarantee that he will adapted quickly to our system within his first season playing for us (Not even Rodri is able to do that).
That surely will not put stop noise around in here who will be bitching again of why we buy Wharton in the first place, why Pep only playing Wharton sparingly few in cup or rubber dead match and Rodri get playing the most match again in full season.
