I agree,but heres a hypothethical question,if our big number 9 wasn't Haaland,do you or anyone else think Pep would have preferred Alvarez to most other traditional 9s ?

its a tough one to say because he was like aguero but aguero if you ordered him from wish, he had all the basics tenets of an aguero but just not quite as good so he may have done but god knows where pep is concerned

But he's not really proven anything has he? Decent player on a terrible team last year. Did some ok stuff in preseason, but can hardly be compared to Alvarez and his very valuable contributions to the first team and to his country.

This is key for me. Hopefully he does. He looks like he has the tools and attitude to be a good player. Sadly not even playing next to Rodri and Bernardo helped Nunes or KP

Putting KP and Nunes in the same category is sort of ridiculous.
