Lee Jackson Head Groundsman Leaving

As he says himself
I’m sure we will all wish him well and good luck in whatever he chooses next
Is it worth a few of us on here setting up a rota to cut the grass until the club appoint a successor? I've got a Flymo but don't have a 100m extension lead.

I've known lee since he started at city, used to get us tickets, I met him through his dad who I used to work with.

If people remember, he used to drive the minibus that brought the players to maine road, george weah ect, good luck to him in the future, we always seemed to have a decent pitch even with some of the funky patterns

He's my brother , so proud of the job he's done since he left school, 33 years nothing to be sniffed at.
How old is he now? I ask as it's a long time at one club in any role, even groundsman, and as he seems open to doing a similar job.

49, joined City at 16, we are so different in character but when I turn up in 115 at Etihad or Kippax at Maine road I was proud my brother was playing his part whether Kare Ingebrigsten was stepping foot on the pitch or David Silva, hopefully the club can recognize the job he's done.
