The club are not best pleased with the charge of not cutting the grass short enough. As a result of that we are likely to be relegated to the Lancashire league div2.Anyone know why he’s leafing?
And smoking it for 32.Wow he's been growing Grass for 33 years
Just hoping that he didn’t fall on his own pitch fork
Very good.:-)He hasn’t been placed on gardening leave, has he?..
All the best.
The favourites for the job have just been announced...Percy Grower, Mo Green and Ivor Mower.
115 you say. Erm, sniff, sniff. :-)49, joined City at 16, we are so different in character but when I turn up in 115 at Etihad or Kippax at Maine road I was proud my brother was playing his part whether Kare Ingebrigsten was stepping foot on the pitch or David Silva, hopefully the club can recognize the job he's done.

Thanks JRB, I was of course referring to sword of grass ;)Corrected for you.
Interesting that he’s open to doing the same work somewhere else.
Agree with all that ,top blue is leeLee has done a fantastic job for city and been there a long time , when we was skint and probably struggled for a wage rise for years , before we got the new hierarchy
The pitch has always been perfect to me and never any complaints from opponents domestic and international , rugby too. He contributed to some great moments
I congratulate Lee on 33 years service and applaud him and wish him the best for his future
He’s a blue through and through and travels to every away game on supporters club coach
Thanks Lee
John Ledwidge? He only joined last seasonI understand the CFA head of grounds is also leaving. Strange goings on !!!
The grass isn’t always greener on the other sideHe hasn’t been placed on gardening leave, has he?..
