Not really stop gap to be honest. We'd only have 2 fit wingers. Grealish is somewhat injury prone too. There's also a space left after Alvarez left.

Different argument though. What I’m saying is that we won’t make a signing because Savinho has an injury. Personally think we are well covered in all the wide areas. A forward and a defensive midfielder would be nice but only one of the requisite quality.

Rico and Kova great displays, doku good but a bit frustrating with final product, savinho looks like a young mahrez, hopefully just a precaution.

Great start to pick up 3 points away at Stamford Bridge.

Loved the game. Credit, I suppose, to Chelsea who actually came out to play us. At one point it looked like a video game - back and forth. But KDB, Kova, Lewis all looked solid. Akanji tends to hold the ball too long. But great start to season.

So the rags could be seen as top after Friday night. They didn't hold it for 24 hours though and will probably be the only time this season they will be top.

He's a very good player; not sure anyone will question that. But, as you said, opposing teams will be well aware of him now. Plus, the penalties didn't half embellish his stats.
