He’d need to learn the concept of being offside though. He probably needs a few generations of evolution to get to that point.

I said this when they signed him, and I said it last season, Liverpool just signed Nunez a year too soon.

31 goals and assists last season from 33 starts and 20 sub appearances is a really good return for a 24 year old winger but his reputation is tarnished by his first season,

He does have stuff to work on - which is much harder when you’re fighting for a place in a PL contenders squad vs. The main man at Benfica so if he’d arrived a year later he’d have been much further ahead and more rounded.
