Sven Goran Eriksson | Passes away from cancer aged 76 (p 32)

Sven’s funeral is this weekend.

His friends from the football world are arriving to western Sweden today and tomorrow

First to arrive where Roy Hodgson, David Dein and Henry Winter

Roberto was his captain and I'm not sure if he started coaching under Sven.

I seem to remember Mancini being interviewed along these lines (a lot of paraphrasing mind);

Interviewer - 'What did Sven do for you as a player/ coach Roberto'?

Bobby Manc - 'Question should be, what did I do for Sven Goran Ericsson'

Or similar.........

Yes they did play YNWA. And yes David Beckham, who was a friend of Sven's attended and was welcomed by the family to walk with them.
Beckham showed his respect for his friend and former manager.

There are no depths that he won't sink to the get media coverage in support of his
unhealthy, undeserved honour.

As for his talentless, vacuous and gormless money pit of a wife.........!!

Yeah they had a lot of respect for each other.

I am dissapointed by the lack fo Citt people there. There were people from Benfica, Sampdori, Lazio, FA and Leicester sent flowers. There was nothing from City.

Beck Ham would attend the opening of a drain if it would give him or his loss making frock making missus publicity.
