The premier league wanted all this hushed up and behind closed doors. The Daily Mail got wind of it and wanted it sticking in the public domain. I can understand why the Premier League might not want an embarrassing defeat on a hearing never seeing the light of day. Too late now they can’t put the genie back in the bottle.

They dint want the reporting at the time as the investigation might have come to nothing but once they filed the charges then it was out in public Even though the investigation came to light at the time there no details of what it was only speculation most of it wrong What it did do however is make it more likely for charges to be brought

I was always strongly on the side of win and move on. I’m torn now. It’s been going on so long that if we are proved innocent I can understand an argument for going after the PL. Enough is enough particular as the PL have told other clubs they can sue us if they win.

Against all my sensibilities I don’t think winning will be enough now. The PL must pay for this so they think again next time.

To begin with , pl should have never bought these charges to surface . This should’ve been resolved internally. This only shows us the real intent of pl . Mcfc is a partner just like rest of the clubs , it’s like shooting your own toe with a gun on your right foot.
