Rodri Injury Updates | City say ligament injury (pg117)

People are so defeatist pep will find a way around it kova and gundo will have to fill the void. Remember when gundo had to fill in for fernandinho last 16 games of the season people threw in the towel. We won all 16 games I think and completed a domestic treble. We are a squad of world class players 1 player doesn't define our season.
Way too many abject bloody BEDWETTERS on here !
Grow a backbone and some bollocks you cry babies !

We've won 1st 4 without him this season. We won loads of games last season when Harry was crocked. We kept on winning when Viking was crocked

We are not a one-man team, We have the Nikola Tesla of football as coach, We are CITY!!

More down to the way the injury was handled appallingly by the club and particularly P.J.Swales.
Fucking hell man let me rest in peace!

If the worst has happened we have 14 league games before the next window, we can obviously start to target someone now to sign in that window to not only help replace Rodri temporarily but also support him in the future

We have been looking for 2 years and not found anyone!

Swales destroyed Lake's career that's a simple fact and many believe you should be burning in hell ;)

I am deservedly burning in hell from the wig down

Of course we’ve been struggling to replace him (he is irreplaceable) but now we are in a different position we can do SOMETHING about it to make things easier

I have never seen a player tear his ACL and walk/limp off like Rodri did. I’m taking the optimistic option.
If I recall correctly, then Paul was injured during a home game with Villa as he landed and he left the field on his own accord He missed a few games and, if rumours, are true they had him running up and down the Kippax He played in a game a few weeks later, Sheffield United? and I remember hearing on the radio he’d collapsed very early into the game and left on a stretcher. The club, Swales, we’re horrendous in their support he had numerous operations bur never recovered, the medical treatment was far less sophistication back then though.

Gives fringe and young players a huge chance, every member of this squad will be getting minutes, Nunes, McAtee and Rico will have great opportunities now.

Anything official from the club yet ? And what about Tolmie? Does he know anything? I know it's not looking great, but until the club tell us what's going on I'll be in pray mode.

I would love a pre injury lake in our squad to replace Rodri . Rolls Royce player who wouldn’t be out of place in any of our squads post takeover . His injury still saddens me to this day

Was Boro away, the City end just went quiet when he went down.

I heard he went to the USA for treatment and City only paid for Economy seats on the plane. That would not have helped his knee at all.

I used to read the Pink every week looking for some good news.

Sadly, never came.

I remember the last throw was a donor ligament operation but that failed too.

One of the great sadnesses of my City history.
