Disappointing result - especially that diving Scouse twat Gordon faking contact to win a penalty but one or two encouraging signs from Phil. He's got to start if KDB is out and Savio too. Bernardo should only play centrally as he was AWOL until late on. God knows what's happened to Gundo ?
Need to play with much more tempo and intensity.
TNT can fuck off blowing smoke up the Geordies arses...kicked us early on with impunity and defended with 11 at home.

need to start playing regularly with foden back where he was last season up front / inside right. savinho right wing, grealish left.

leaves two spots for central midfield to take your pick from the lads above.

stones back in central defence to assist with the play and akanji the right back/wide right centre half.

One of the worst games ive seen gundogan play, he had 2-3 excellent chances to put Haaland through in the first half and messed them up big time.Hopefully other top 4 teams will also drop some points this weekend.

Always a tough place to go. Anyone being too critical needs to get some fucking perspective

We were poor in coping with them . Lost possession far too much and needed to test their keeper more. We are able to do much better with this lineup

Foden and Savinho should have started.

Agreed. I'd have gone with Bernardo, Kovacic and Foden as our CM 3 with Grealish and Savinho on the wings. I think that team would have beaten them.

Gundogan had a shocker today unfortunately and Lewis didn't really get into the game, which really hindered us going forward. Looked much better with Foden and Bernardo alongside Kovacic.

Not the result we wanted but, all things considered, not a bad result either.

Doku's transfer is so strange because there's a player in there. He's just so inconsistent

Lack of options mid season. Could easily end up with another Kalvin Phillips if not careful.
