Needs to start imposing himself on games from the start now.

Maybe there is something going on in his life, but needs to do his job and forget whatever it is for 90 minutes every few days.
To be fair he only played 35 minutes? And he imposed himself pretty much every game last season.

He’s just coming back, so I’d expect to see him get back to his best the more games he plays.

Hence the word “now.”

He’s had a rest, he’s young, he’s the POTY.

It’s time to start earning his crust.

I have a feeling he is starting to regain his form and that's very important for us.

That fucking England team, full of chaos and looser mentality always has bad influence on him and I was worried he would need more time to find strength in himself and return to his best football..

Hopefully these easy matches till Tottenham will help him and Phill will start to deliver those match-winning performances.

We need him at his best now, we can't rely on Haaland scoring every game and no one else is stepping up at the moment in front of goal.

I thought for sure he was going to bury that chance. He was immediately impactful, though.

Looked slightly sharper than midweek but middle of the pitch was full packed again

Instantly changed things for us when he came on. Should be starting every game for us given current circumstances.

There are plenty of games and got to take measures in avoiding burning Phil out. He should start vs Fulham and perhaps give him a longer run in Bratislava.

Two good chances have fallen to him (Arsenal/Newcastle) and he’s found the keeper with both. The tap will be turned on soon.

Body language and engagement levels were much, much better today. Just looked quicker, more involved, and was great to see him begging for the ball. Very encouraging
Yes I thought that too, glimpses of his former self.

I didn't recognise him in the summer for England (highlighted further because Palmer was so good) Has he had an illness or family issues we don't know about? You simply can't leave the Footballer of the Year out of the side, especially as Rodri and KDB missing.

Fingers crossed he's on his way back, because we're missing his creativity and goals big time.

The family issue was his wife had a baby and the family moved house (near Northwich/Tarporley).

There was a noise complaint from his old neighbours at his old house where the police attended Ronnie’s birthday party. But nothing serious happened and nowt came of it. But he’s supposedly moved to the new house to get away from it all and enjoy his fishing which is a hotspot in the new area he’s moved to.

Sam Lee was saying on his podcast he doesn't know what's really gone on but he knows Foden wasn't "ill".

He said it's a bit of a Grealish "get your shit together" type situation.

No idea how true that is and I know a lot of you on here hate Sam Lee but there you go..
