LA would work for me as it's the only venue anywhere within driving distance of the Bay Area :)
 
In law's live just outside Boston and got MLS season tickets at Gillette stadium (although not allowed to call it that during world cup) so might try and take in game there. I did just over a month touring California during 94 world cup taking in 6 games including semi final and final. 4 of us hired a car drove LA-Vegas-SF then down the coast to San Diego. Into Tijuana and back up to LA to fly home.

This competition in theory replaces the Confederations Cup in the calendar which was used as a test event for a countries readiness to host the world cup.

In theory that would mean the next edition will be in Spain/Portugal/Morocco and then Saudi. Suspect if it's as successful as they hope then it will just go to the highest bidder instead.

I can only imagine...the ton of money I'd be saving from living an hour from Met Life might just have to go to paying out the ass for good tickets...but it could be a once in a lifetime as far as City playing in a Club World Cup Final in my home state so whatever it costs it costs.

Oh, I know...I'm a first generation Yank...my father was born just outside of Rome and my mother in Calabria to a Sicilian father...I know all about way, way back and grudges : )

AI gives some interesting insites if you Google "fifa world cup 2034 bidders" - most of which have probably been covered.

It kinda suggests they only wanted 1 bidder - which is what they got!! (I know quell surprise)

I wouldn't have bothered with the Saudi version on personal views - but I'll be about 70 by then anyway, so not exactly an issue lol
