Matt Busby was a real gentleman. There is a clip, which was included in the Lee, Bell, Summerbee video, of him congratulating Joe on City's title win in 1968.

A question regarding the Rag’s banner. I see on here that the banner whips up a lot of anger amongst Blues being beyond banter - being unacceptable etc. Personally I don't get this - as annoying as it was I always felt that one day it would come back to bite them on the arse.
If in say 9 seasons time the Rags still haven’t won the league would it be unacceptable for us to put up our own 20 banner ?

We are not an arrogant club unlike that odious club, so no it would not be acceptable.

We have more integrity and class.

They’re yearning for times gone bye , that’s the biggest noose around their necks , they haven’t learnt yet that they are fucking bang average , like they were before bells whisky turned up , some of the shite they’ve signed actually beggars belief , almost as if Swales has been reincarnated as their head of player recruitment, they’ve bought and sold shit at massive losses , and they’ve just done it again , they fail to get CL football this season and they’re royally fucked , this feels like one last throw of the dice , and by all accounts they’re going to keep him as manager , who on earth would take that job with the complete load of shit that turns out on the pitch? With a sanctimonious arrogant attitude with everything surrounding them. Omar won’t last ten minutes, his neck is on the line already after three months by giving ETH a new contract and rubber stamping a spend on a complete load of horseshit.
