Viana genuinely sounds liked he'd be a really exciting appointment.

With Txiki leaving, it's even more important for us that Pep signs for another couple of years. Appointing a new DOF and a new manager in such a short space of time wouldn't be ideal and there's potential for power struggles or such like. Should Pep stay, it'll be business as usual and Viana or whoever else will have time to get used to exactly how things work and how they'll continue to work going forward.

On Txiki - he's been a class act. His importance to our success should never be understated.
