Those in charge of Israel are intent on doing the same thing to the Palestinians as Hitler did to the Jews. That's literally the problem.
 
Israel - "UN Peacekeepers need to move north into safer areas" - when in any conflict has that happened? "sorry we want to bomb where you are we realise you are the UN - mind getting out of the way?" Israel is completely out of control backed by Western authorities who are complicit in what they do.

We should be putting boots on the ground and backing up the UN peacekeepers.

Peacekeeping troops have been moved and pulled out many times during conflicts.

See Mali as a very recent example.

That’s not a defence of Israel before someone froths at the mouth, it’s the reality.

The IDF and Netanyahu are completely out of control. The man is a tyrant.

thats about all we have - we lack the personnel to fill said boots most of the military is on deployment the rest is in for a refit - thats what happens when you decimate their numbers

I do however feel the Irish stance is correct and while hoping no harm comes to the few troops that are there, I do hope they stand by our principles.
I had a politician come around my door on Friday with a local election coming up. Normally I’d take the leaflet and run them. However he asked so I gave him some of my local concerns off the top of my head.

I did though, tell him that the government and Presidential stance is wholeheartedly supporting what the views on the ground are, here in Ireland. The representation globally, so far, does have the support of the people.

Have a listen to this Israeli historian.
Get to the end. What is needed is the 3 A’s.
Netanyahu has no desire of them. Peace is not his goal and never was.

And like yourself, that in no way condones the actions of Hamas or Hezbollah.
That is not where I am coming from.

Ousting Netanyahu and all far-right Likud, and terminating the pro-Kach Ben Gvir, Smotrich and the majority of the Knesset may not end the fascist zionism of zionist, but it can be a start.

More Palestinian children has been killed under Netanyahu’s tenure compared to all the killing of Palestinian children of all previous Israel MPs combined.

Netanyahu is the worst of all time. Ehud Barak, if not for his finance reasons, can be a better selection for MP. Surely Ehud is by no means infallible, but he at least worked for a two-state solution with Yasser Arafat, and handed Lebanon south back to the Lebanese without creating and open-air prison.
