Given the extended time these proceedings have already been in session there will be a mood in the room…. If the PL have thrown numerous allegations that have been comprehensively dismissed - it will all start to become predictable and tedious. Those sitting in judgement must start to think that the PL are ‘flogging a dead horse’ at some point. Ideally I don’t want us just to win this case and be acquitted of all the charges but I’d like to see some criticism of the PL in the summing up as a precursor to much wider reform of the regulatory regime.

Whichever way the verdict goes heads are going to roll.
