roof off December 2025 , stand open early 2026 to fans (subject to hand over etc and safety checks )Can’t be that far off from starting the roof, I’d say around December time. Once all the terraces are in, which will take no time at all, I would think the roof would be next. Flying in!

what City are publically declaring as their intention?New roof on Q1 2025.
Old roof off summer 2025.
Stand open summer/autumn 2025.
Good question are they aiming to open the stand for start of next season? Is that

Stop panicking lol , drone was replaced in less than a week after my last crash !!I agree, but the fallout would be slightly more than just the loss of your drone and any possible damage to crane/tower infra or bumps on hard hats worn by workmen - all us very interested fans would absolutely mourn the loss of the service you deliver for us because you can bet some over-zealous so-and-so would demand a cease-and-desist order over the site. So on behalf of us all, please, please continue to be f**king careful! ;-)

erm well no I was told 2026 new stand during the 25/26 season .
told by a club resperentive
ok yes the roof I was told December but couldn't remember 2024 or 2025 but I am 100 percent confident of the stand opening to fans 2026 or at least being open as it were .I guess we’ll see.
It won’t be long until you’re proven incorrect about the roof being December 2025.
New roof starts Q1 2025 and the old one will be taken off at the end of the season.

by the way there running behind so ....
who knows at this point , Maybe they have caught up during the international break ..Sometimes they open before being ‘finished’. The South Stand wasn’t actually finished until late 2015 despite opening for the first Chelsea home game. Will be interesting to see if it’s that kind of scenario. Surprised they are behind schedule since the weather has been pretty good overall really.
Forgive my ignorance , worked in construction all my life , but haven’t a clue what a quad pod is ??

notice the new tree Iined walkway heading towards McDonaldsThese tripody supports but with four legs instead, on top of the towers that will hold the new roof and cables up, and have the rooftop walk and platforms between them. More of a descriptive than a technical term, really.
