So have the rags got a jump on us with signing Almiron? That fucker Berrada would have known the managers we were looking at after Pep? It more hype again?

Wasn't the plan to have a way of playing that a manager would have to follow as set out by the DOF and his team. Now it seems that is not the case.

I guess they will now somehow spunk a further few hundred million on players to fit the new system.

Remember how disrespectful we were sacking Leslie and then announcing Bobbie Mancini so soon, seems that not a thing anymore.
Bit difficult to follow the way of playing introduced by ETH.

Anyone can see it’ll take at least 4 or 5 seasons to sort out the shit show, rag fans won’t wait that long……we’re Manchester United …..
Most patient fans in football according to Henry winter! Tell that to the copper who got his face slashed in their temper tantrum riots when they broke into the swamp to get a game called off!

The rags get a jump on us hahaha, why didnt they get him in the summer then
No idea, probably because they are a bunch of useless wankers? Hahah

I am just thinking out loud as to when we reluctantly move on from Pep. Will the rags be in a position to capitalise with this signing? Obviously I hope not but we can’t rule out that at some point in time they will get it right. Maybe not to win a title but to at least not be the basket case we all love atm.

Fast forward 5 seasons…it will be interesting to see the trajectory of both clubs.

The rags being on their 12 manager and pep still here would be perfection.

I’m sure we’ve looked at a few coaches to succeed Pep and he was only one of a few…..
The rags are after our sloppy seconds. If Pep really wanted him as his successor then he wouldn't be touching the rags with a barge pole.

They're a basket case with a fanbase who have little patience when its not working. They're like us in the '90s with players from 4 different managers.

At the end of the day they will challenge again, stupidity just like quality doesnt last forever unfortunately but will they ever dominate like they did or match our recent runs, not a prayer

I saw a stat on twitter that ETH had exactly the same win rate at Ajax as Amorim has at Sporting (around 71%)

If he's the new messiah then why did the dippers reject him

The dippers went 30 years without winningthe league & Arsenal haven't won it in 20 years.

It took Pep 12 months to dismantle an ageing team but the majority of the players weren't on astronomical wages. Then you add in how close they are to breaking the rules they put in place to stop us.

The best bit is they've just piled in a load of players to allegedly play an open, expansive game, and now they're getting a pragmatic manager in.

I don't see how this can end well.

26 years wait without the winning the league then won 13 in under bacon!

So called Biggest club in world don't go that long without winning there league!
