I hope he is rested tonight.

He was fucked at the end of the Southampton game.

Pep can’t play him every game.

He’s got 3 matches coming up.
 
looks stupid to sell Delap and Alvarez both. just because we won the league playing false 9 few years back does not mean we wont be fucked if Haaland gets an injury for 6/8 weeks. we used to have great pressing too few years ago from Sterling, Jesus, Sane and a much younger KDb, Gundo etc. and we have a shit pressing these days and an older squad overall.

I keep saying others need to add to the goal tally too especially the wingers (who got all injured lol) and Gundo, Foden but most are allergic to score goals or just badly out of form. Gundo maybe even past it too. so yeah right now its either Haaland or one of defenders...
with Nunes also not scared to make some shots finally.

with most wingers out the supply to Haaland can also be affected badly.
 
Problem is Delap wanted to play games we do have a buyback with him and as we all know when a players wants out we let them go! The main problem is we didn't buy another 1/2 players in the summer and pep loves a small group of players and when you have a the injuries we have now we in trouble

Look mate it's very simple, if he's going to offer absolutely fuck all in every other aspect of the game he better take his chances and he didn't, missed an absolute sitter that cost us an equaliser and he couldn't control a single ball that came to him.

Ah come off it mate, he was struggling to even make 5 yard passes at times, genuinely looked like he couldn’t be arsed pressing at times in that first half. After this season these are the players who are going to be tasked with supplying him, there will be no KDB. So if that’s not enough then I don’t know what we do.

Haaland has never been and will never be a presser. His body doesn't allow it - nothing to do with being arsed. Also, he was clearly carrying something for most of the game.
 
Remember life before Haaland when we created chances for fun and bemoaned having nobody there to finish them off? Strange tactic to now have the deadliest striker in world football and not create anything for him. The midfield/wide men we have, are miles below the previous incumbents.
 
Wasted the way we play. Not for the first time. Still score shit loads of goals though. He's other worldly.
