Who to say also if pep didn't wine and dined Walker to stay we would of won the league last season! Pep went out of his way to persuade Walker because he knows how important he is to the dressing room and when you see the majority of the players voted him captain our players must like him trust what he says!
 
Pep is an experienced man with plans who will know his own mind.

It baffles me slightly that twixt him and the club they create this uncertainty and unnecessary speculation.

It may not affect the players but most humans prefer certainly and clarity on significant matters.

I'd be very surprised if Pep doesn't already know his decision but it would be helpful if it was announced AQP.

I don't think he'll leave until he's rebooted the squad with several new elite winning players.

He won't leave a snagged out squad for the next coach.

We have a lot of ego-free "nice guys" in our team. I think Walker represents something different to that and the management/players appreciate that it takes a variety of personality types to make an effective unit.

Not so sure Rico is Walkers replacement tbh. Could be wrong but don't see him as an out and out RB but things can change. The Walker of previous seasons will take some replacing. I suspect Rico will possibly find himself a midfield slot.

No Ronaldo was a major disruption in the changing room, Gundo won't be like that if he's not playing. Different personality's. One's a twat the other is a good lad.

Rico is outstanding but he definitely isn’t a RB as he isn’t quick enough for the modern game in that position.

To say he’s better than Walker is just silly.

Fair relative to Pep. But relative to the context of a 'project' that prople are talking about, 2 years is not a squad overhaul job. Really not that much of a difference to 1 year.

It is all reactionary anyway. Oh he needs to make a decision, oh we shouldnt let him stay one year he needs to go, oh we need rid of players that have won us stuff for best part of a decade.

What, did he not need to make any decisions before the Bournemouth game? Were there no players needing replaced over the next few years before the Bournemouth game? Chill people, it is all happening as it should in the background. Won't stop us losing games, won't make us win every single game.
