They are actually screaming out for someone that can cut in from the right and ghost in and out of the centre. He is tailor made for them tactically. Hopefully he understands that he can be a star alongside Phil and Erling in what is (usually) the best collective in the world instead of being reduced to a support act because the ego of Vinicus and Mmmmbop won't allow another ballond'or contender in the front three

Maybe the rumour Tolmie was suggesting that Pep will extend for a season and we already have his replacement in the loop and a deal agreed in 18 months time (Alonso) that would he a huge advantage in attracting Wirtz.

Never believed the Wirtz following Alonso stuff
We don’t have Pep’s replacement sorted, anyone suggesting we do needs there head shaking

On the Pep issue I am not so sure I agree, as a club we don't work that way, just look how easily Tixki has been replaced, not one single rumour.

Peps replacement may not be sorted in as much as contracts being signed but I have no doubt we have identified his replacement and discussions and agreements have already taken place

Been known for a while Txiki is leaving. He’s way
more replaceable.

Pep’s future more uncertain, I just don’t see City getting a replacement sorted whilst there is a chance Pep stays. They will be doing everything to keep him for as long as possible, so won’t be setting deadlines for a replacement in 26/27. Even Xabi Alonso looks very average with Leverkusen this season.

I hope we do because the managerial market is so poor right now.
