Everything but the trophy room?Arsenal looking at expansion
You think in this day and age they could knock down and rebuild the houses on Leazes terrace brick by brick in another location to allow the ground to be finished as it’s already halfway thereI heard a rumour last week from someone who apparently knows someone at the club, and also is a part of the Freeman of the city that we (Newcastle United) are looking to build a 90k-100k capacity stadium on Leazes Parks/Castle Leazes.
I very much doubt we would ever get permission for a capacity that high, and I also think there would be a lot of pushback to have an of it built on Leazes Park. So if it’s true, I think it will be part of a plan to come out with a high capacity, and settle for 80k, which would have been their ultimate aim in anyway.
Haha, honestly don’t start saying that. You think in this day and age they could knock down and rebuild the houses on Leazes terrace brick by brick in another location to allow the ground to be finished as it’s already halfway there
Just spotted that you're a Newcastle fan.We have just had a fan event at our fan park, and online. The whole board were there. They were discussing the stadium, without going into too much detail, they were saying we have 2 options, stay at SJP with an expansion
