Huge amount of money to walk away from even for a wealthy club like ours.Think the moment on offer will scupper that, sadly.

I'm not sure if Inter have got the resources to do any better, but Inzaghi's a brilliant coach. But what or more specifically who is the alternative?
Doesn't sound like a quitter..
Agreed , and the last Italian at the helm did ok.I'm not sure if Inter have got the resources to do any better, but Inzaghi's a brilliant coach.
Carlo would only come to us to top up his pension, we need someone on that training ground, young and hungry, the game is changing.
We have seen Barca go with a young side and what a side they look, also Chelsea , the madness is starting to take shape, they could have a very good young side coming together there.
Not happening. At best it’ll be a rolling 1 year contract.Pep needs to sign a 3 year deal to settle the nerves of all involved.
If he isn't 100% committed he should (I say this very reluctantly) stand aside for the new chap.
Just typing this is stressing me out!
Ignore the rumours, no one knows aside a very small circleI got told yesterday that he’s not extending by someone who has dealings with players, I’m not saying he’s right and I hope he’s wrong but, if it is the case it needs to be announced asap and then we can get to terms with it, the indecision helps no one.
Edit*
Reading his quotes sounds like he’s going nowhere … hope so, just extend for a longer deal Pep.
I don't get the Kompany thing and no chance would he leave or should he.I said preseason if Chelsea clicks they’ll be a proper firm. Looking decent aren’t they?
Give me some names aside from Alonso mate?
Proves that no one has a clue because other people have been told he’s staying.I got told yesterday that he’s not extending by someone who has dealings with players, I’m not saying he’s right and I hope he’s wrong but, if it is the case it needs to be announced asap and then we can get to terms with it, the indecision helps no one.

Inzargi at Inter is a class act, Emery at Villa has done a wonderful job, Bournemouth manager incredible job again but under little or no pressure.
Amorim seemed like he was not under serious consideration which surprised me with Viana rocking up, maybe we have a name that none could see, with our board/execs that would not surprise me.
I do think we would go for someone young and hope to go long term, they will be given plenty of finance and time post Pep.
Not sure he would leave Villa, if they are allowed to spend they could become a threat.Emery is my 2nd choice mate.
Swap him for Grealish…Not sure he would leave Villa, if they are allowed to spend they could become a threat.
I like Emery too mate. Done an outstanding job. Signed a 5 year contract in the summer so wouldn’t be cheap - but we’re due a shopping spree ;)Emery is my 2nd choice mate.
Intrigued by the stories last few days that pep was offered players in the summer but he instead decided to go with the small squad.
I always assumed it was the board being tight with funds but it brings a new narrative to this season. Apparently the lad from Celtic was offered to pep he turned it down insisting we had enough.
If pep continues at city he is going to have to accept we can’t operate with such a small squad these days. We need major investment in midfield and at rb.
My main worry is that pep literally controls everything and the club will continue to bow down to his demands and we will continue to struggle with fatigue injuries etc

Maybe the club are trying to surpress what he's gonna do,they know what happened in feb 2016.I got told yesterday that he’s not extending by someone who has dealings with players, I’m not saying he’s right and I hope he’s wrong but, if it is the case it needs to be announced asap and then we can get to terms with it, the indecision helps no one.
