I think your right, if we announced peps off now I believe very much the season would more less be over. We don't have the fight in the squad as it is. Injuries haven't help mind you.
 
Decision time. they have 10 days to get an announcement package together I reckon. Get the Media stuff out of the way and line in the sand either way by the time the players come back.
 
Did some post on here that tolmie had said that if Alonso said he would come this summer that Pep would go?

Completely agree.

The current group have given us more than we could have dreamed about. Fought tooth and nail season after season. No other club could get near us.

It’s ok tho in my mind anyway to believe its time for 3/4 to go.

Unfortunately another set of legends will leave and finding replacements will be difficult.

This could be true, however, it’s virtually impossible to keep it under wraps if you are approaching other managers in advance.

This is what happened with Klopp last year - they had no option but to announce it early because it was known they were approaching other managers.

I sadly think Pep has not yet decided - and we are left with current mess
 
I can understand that Pep is undecided, at least publicly, but part of me thinks he sees another challenge to get replacements for Kyle, Kev etc. and see the kids get established. In some ways he can’t quit if we don’t win a trophy this season, without losing face. He hasn’t changed or lost it, but we have a lot of unfit and injured defensive players and no cover for Haaland. Small squad costing us.
 
Explains why pep said he wasn’t going to Abu Dhabi!

1 year really isn’t the answer though imo. But seems the likely outcome
