Think of it like this if you asked fans of other clubs right down the leagues who they would like to see relegated or despise,I’d hazard a guess the red scousers would be well ahead of any other team and it’s fuck all to do with being successful in late 70’s and 80’s ..
No I suspect it would be us, success breeds contempt.

He either spends a lot and therefore rebuilds teams or he has all the players he needs when he arrives at a club and therefore doesn't spend. You dippers can't have it both ways.
Has he ever gone to a club built a team, reached peak performance with that team, dismantled it, then built a new one?

Well, this is a dumb take.

When, if you've ever known Guardiola career history, have you known him to quit on a job in contract? None as far as I know!!

So, yes, Guardiola will have to rebuild, all managers do when they have the core of the same team for multiple years; it's called age, wear and tear.

I think Guardiola will relish the challenge of new faces, youth and impetus. if he gets that, he may well extend further than where he is now, but we'll cross that bridge when we get there.
And if he successfully does that he will unquestionably be the greatest manager the premier league has ever seen. That’s one thing Fergie holds over him in my opinion.

You should know that City fans make the same claim about LFC. I dare say Rags make the same claims about us.
2nd attempt. Yes true but do you City fans make these claims amongst yourselves on your own forums or do you sign up to ArsenalMania and pander for the attention and approval of their supporters?

He has ben at City for 8 years, what the fuk do you think he has been doing? Has the (wrong) narrative of how many billions he has spent past you by? This was a typical starting 11 when he first joined.

I'm always waiting for Kelleher and Bradley to make fuck ups, as I think both have a mistake in them and expect them to be fazed by playing in massive games, but they don't seem to make many.
If anything they've been brilliant.

I looked at their lineup last night and saw those 2 and a done Robertson and thought surely Madrid have a chance, but they were well beaten.

Personally on that particularly point no but on many others I do. For example I don't subscribe to the highly held belief on here that the PL and PIGMOL are corrupt against us and favour any club that plays in red.

I’ll be fascinated to see the new team he builds once the likes of KDB, Bernardo, Gundogan, Stones, Walker & Ederson leave. Will you still be as dominate as you once were when these were at their peak?

I've no idea I can't see into the future, I was replying to your specific point suggesting that he has never rebuilt a squad which is obviously complete bollox!
Many of the starting 11 I posted won his first tittle and only two of them won his last one so history would suggest he could do it again. It's not like world class players have dried up, neither has our ability to attract them and he and his team obviously have an eye for what is required.

Liverpool and the rags have only been dominant once in there entire history so it be a miracle if pep builds a team in 2 seasons then we dominate like we have last 10 years with a new manager!

There’s no doubt he arrived at a squad full of players at his disposal talented enough to win a premier league title though.

That’s not a dig because you still have to get the job done in the toughest league in the world but it wouldn’t say a huge rebuild was required either.

Has anybody?

His first game in charge of City was the line up above. By his second season - when we won the league with 100 points, Caballero, Clichy, Kolarov, Sagna, Nolito were all gone. Since then, we've seen Kompany, Aguero, Yaya Toure, Leroy Sane, Sterling and Gabriel Jesus - who were all key players as we created English football history (peak performance) - leave and then won the treble (peak performance).

Personally I don’t see it with likes of Savinho, Doku, Nunes, Kovacic. These signings are miles off the benchmark he set.
He has a habit of improving players over time so don't write them off just yet. On this subject you seem to keep shifting the argument, it seems to me that you want to believe he can't do it. I think we've exhausted the discussion on it now regardless.
