I'm fully on with your campaign fella, I was thinking as a one off for safety reasons as the club in general can't to trusted to police their own ticket T & C's.
Fair do's bbtm.
FWIW .....I've met with the club on this issue and presented a multi faceted, pick and mix proposal.
They were very accomadating and accept many of the principles, practicalities and objectives.
They have committed to put together a small group of 'managers' starting with a "clean sheet of paper" to build each element of the proposal into a coherent, stress tested case to then informally discuss with other stakeholders including the GMP, licencing authority and PL.
If everything passes muster at that stage,it will 'go up' for recomendation.
The reason for 'flying' it on here is to get it in peoples conciousness and on the agenda.
As far as i know 1894 have'nt picked up the baton yet. It appears as if they are fighting their own battle re the NS.
IMO, I think the SS, as a dedicated home end with 8000 established core fans under the roof, is as important as the expanded NS for building an intense atmosphere.
Two packed City ends must be better than 3 or 4 half arsed sections spread round the stadium....CB & ES are also likely to become more involved if the ends are rocking.
As the actress said to the Bishop....keep pushing !!
