We showed plenty of fight in that performance especially after their start and we did manage to cope what Liverpool had to offer.

As expected, outplayed by a far better team with goal threats throughout, a farvbetter coached team with superb fitness levels.
Got away lightly with 2-0 but honestly same errors by Pep with Walker and the midfield and high line.
Title went weeks ago, doubt this team will finish top 4 tbh as players look uninterested, comical mistakes game after game, no fitness, pace or creativity and goals in the squad.
Forest up next and their pacy wingers will have a field day v our midfield and high line.

I mean it’s been a really poor start but there’s still plenty of games for. 13 games in and no league title is done. We are not winning anything like this though. 75 points to play. We could still theoretically get 98 points.

Not over but the margins are so slim now that every game pretty much we need to win post January.

There's so much that goes into wins, trophies and sustained success....one of the biggest for me is fight and it looks to me like that is what we have lost.

Halfhearted tackling, jogging back into position added to injuries and Peps ridiculous high line bullshit (yes it's worked in the past but not fucking now so change it ffs). Currently, a recipe for disaster.

I've no doubt we'll be back, but right now it's pretty fucking grim. I'd be over the moon with a scrappy 1-0 win against forest just to start turning things around.

Do we have a set piece coach? That free kick that ended up with ortega was diabolical even by our standards . As ever useless at corners both defending and attacking .

A lot of us would have taken 2-0 before the game at the moment.

The second half was better, but the major difference is the intensity. Look at them harassing our back 4 in the 94th minute. We didn’t do it at all.

A right back in January is a must.

Kyle seems to be finished at the level we need. A liability all too often through slack play or having a belief that he can pass checks his body is no longer capable of delivering on.

Rico not the answer there either but perhaps more so because of the demands Pep places on him in terms of inverting.

If we could get 3 other defenders fit/in-form it would allow us to put Akanji there. Nunes could have the attributes but I’m put off by the fact he’s got the heart of a mouse and is a terrible tackler.

As you say that was a battling performance but we need the Kev’s, the Jack’s the Johnny Boulder’s in that team for 90 and it looks unlikely at present.
