The council get their payments. They're in every month meeting with the staff. They go over our finances as well. That's why that figure on here is less than a million, when 8 years ago it was over a million. If games break even when the thieves hit 500, where is the money going ?
It's got to be going somewhere but it ain't going to Manchester City Council and it ain't going in the bank.
That’s the thing - he’s finally stated it’s 500 paying on the day customers, the season ticket money was spunked months ago over the summer. If games break even when the thieves hit 500, where is the money going ?

No idea how many season ticket holders there are but today’s gate was 1600. Just say there’s 800 season ticket holders that’s 800 on the day which can include the elderly and kids / students. So 300 x whatever they paid to get in is profit. Max £3,900
(300 x £13) without taking concessions into account. Plus given the fact it’s their first home game for four weeks and their last until Xmas, that £3,900 has already gone
As the board members would say “what collection tins?”You’ve not included the collection tins….
At the rate we are going we will be playing each other soon enoughCity are winning though, so it's all good.

Ha ha nice one.If you don’t believe M40’s version of the truth & want the full details of FCs financial mess & an update on the council’s agreement to structure the debts which they haven’t been able to pay off (despite what M40 will tell you) then you can watch along to the AGM from 11am today, any questions can be asked online either in person or by typing into the zoom chat. They’ll also be discussing the vote to charge £15 per adult or £300 for a season ticket although 50% of that is the donation so not subject to tax it starts at 11am & is available here

To sum it up, there was a lot of handwringing about why they don’t trust themselves around kids & won’t let anyone in the ground under the age of 16 without a parent or guardian.Any updates from their AGM ?
Thank you.To sum it up, there was a lot of handwringing about why they don’t trust themselves around kids & won’t let anyone in the ground under the age of 16 without a parent or guardian.
The latest bucket shaking campaign (missing matches) launched last month has raised £10 grand, an impressive achievement that most non league clubs would be proud of & grateful for. Not fc united however, remember this season they also asked their have fans to “fund the foundations” & “boost the budget” on top of the donations they ask on top of the season ticket prices & moaned that this years 3 new kits haven’t sold in high enough numbers but now their board are moaning that only 40% of members have chucked in to the latest campaign & they all need to donate more. £10 grand in this latest shakedown, just before Christmas isn’t good enough, they need £20 grand for nothing.
Finally, some staff are voluntarily going without their wages, again just before Christmas as the club is so fucked. Only one member is asking where all the moneys gone seeing as our council graciously gave them a 2 year debt repayment holiday with our money.
I struggle with all of this (but thank you for posting)To sum it up, there was a lot of handwringing about why they don’t trust themselves around kids & won’t let anyone in the ground under the age of 16 without a parent or guardian.
