FC United Thread

And there lies the problem.... who is going to buy a 5,000 capacity football stadium, built using pallets, (and not even completed at that) in Moston?

because its made of pallets it will be ok for bonfire night burn the fucker down and sell the tickets to the people of moston

the council should be made to apologise to the people of moston and north manchester for going behind there backs and building it for FCUM fans on false promises, and when the board spent and nicked the money the council should have closed them down on the spot, the council loan will never get paid back and every single week that goes by the crowds are getting smaller and smaller and soon will be well under 1000 turning up, and there only fan on here northmanc a couple of years ago said they need 1500 each just to break even so its doom and who is footing the bill now ???

The Glazers? They bought an oversized Meccano set situated near a smelly canal and an industrial estate.

hahahah

you know what if the council was going to help build a football stadium for a new manchester club with no tie's to both city and united i think the people would have got behind it and it would have got more of a chance ?? can manchester have another football club and be a success in the lower leagues then yes is the answer, but can FCUM survive then the answer is NO

maybe am clutching at straws but if enough people can come together and get there heads around a 3rd manchester football club it could work and make a profit too, the only stumbling block would be the timing of games, you would have to find gaps at weekends to play the games so you can get people from watching games on tv, a good pricing policy and friendly and open arms with no malice, you know what i would be in for some of that
