He is coming back from a long time off.Sunday he will be fine.Tell me who else you would look to to stir those twats into life?
 
Its a shame he never developed into a leader.

We desparately needed one of those after the first goal, some of their heads had gone.

They needed somebody to lead and calm them down.

What a shame we only have Rodri and Dias who can do this.
 
His impact on game rhythm is enormous. As soon as he came on he boosted the game. We didn’t need that and he is experienced enough to know that.
Back to the basics. Close the game if 3:0.

Yeah refusing to bring him on until we're two down suggests something is wrong.

whiel I agree something doesnt look right, I think we also need to accept that KDB at the top level is also finished.....you could see it at times last year as well...this most recent injury has done him completely...can barely run and is constantly losing possession when pressed.
 
Talking about falling out with Pep, etc. I think he probably has because he wants to play, but he didn't touch the ball today that I remember, was terrible in the week and is clearly not in shape to play
 
He said in last press conference that no extension talks have happened, I wonder if with the injuries they just aren’t going to bother, he could probably do a job like Modric in La Liga or more probably Saudi, but the premier league is a different beast, if he feels City aren’t going to re sign him then maybe he’s not that bothered now and just looking after himself for next season.

I had to read that twice. Didn't agree first time, I think you're on to something there, kind of makes sense.
