I agree. I think his passing range makes him perfect for this role.

A weird one this, Pep saying that he can’t kick a ball without it hurting. Then said nothing concerning, he needs to feel right.

I am not sure how the club managed to go into a season thinking that Kev would be fit for the majority of it. Rodders getting crocked was obviously a shock but Kev? - we should not have counted on him playing more than 50% of games. Getting Gundo back has papered over the cracks a bit but we are still well short in midfield.
Maybe our hands have been tied by the legal crap the club is dealing with but we needed to plan for life without KdB.
That will be sad as he has been absolutely amazing for City. I hope for more memorable moments from him but time waits for no man.

Plus he has enough bite in the tackle
That position could extend his career for a couple of years
