Think you’ll find men stay out of FGM in many cultures that practice it.
 
I find it hard to believe whatever it is that he’s done had that much of a negative effect on her that it made Melanie Sykes quit telly. Or maybe I’m wrong and that’s why she battered her husband?

I know. I was being creative with my wording. Irrelevant tv personality says the current big news story is the reason why she ended her career. Has history for actual assault.

Where has this story of hers been the last few years? If it was that bad her choice was to end her own career, surely she’d have come out with her own allegations?

I’ve no idea. She says she made a complaint. Beyond that the media didn’t pick up on it and the BBC haven’t commented on it.

There’s probably thousands of complaints made constantly. The public probably only find out about a small percentage of them.

Not making light of this fella by the way. I have no idea what he’s done. Walking around with your cock in a sock is pretty piss poor, and it sounds like he is a complete dinosaur in the modern world. More fool him.

What I really hate with things like this is the pile on from people who have not said a word, like Sykes. Her claim that he is the reason she quit telly is pathetic, quite frankly.

If his crimes were extremely serious, they’d have been brought to light by now.

Anyway, he looks like he’s cracking on.

We don’t know what was said. It might have been the final straw for her, or it could have been horrific.

It might also not seem that bad out of context, but hit a nerve too close to the bone for her.

From what I’ve seen, he doesn’t seem to have committed any crimes, just intimidated in the workplace.

There are examples of people being imprisoned for making false rape claims, but they are rare because it's extremely rare for someone to make something like that up. Statistically much rarer than rape itself.

There are far more rapists walking free than there are people who have made false rape allegations.

There was a guy, Kevin, who used to go in my local about 40 plus years ago, he went to a work's Christmas party and rejected sexual advances from a female colleague.

A few days later the Plod turn up at his house and arrest him in front of his wife and kids for alleged rape of his colleague.

The case was under investigation for a good while until she finally cracked and admitted the allegations were false, she got a caution, that was it.

Unfortunately Kevin became known as "Kevin the Rapist" after that. He ended up moving away, l've not seen him since. He was a decent lad, we had some good chats over a beer about how we suffered being blues.
