If games break even when the thieves hit 500, where is the money going ?

It's got to be going somewhere but it ain't going to Manchester City Council and it ain't going in the bank.

The council get their payments. They're in every month meeting with the staff. They go over our finances as well. That's why that figure on here is less than a million, when 8 years ago it was over a million.

That’s the thing - he’s finally stated it’s 500 paying on the day customers, the season ticket money was spunked months ago over the summer.
No idea how many season ticket holders there are but today’s gate was 1600. Just say there’s 800 season ticket holders that’s 800 on the day which can include the elderly and kids / students. So 300 x whatever they paid to get in is profit. Max £3,900
(300 x £13) without taking concessions into account. Plus given the fact it’s their first home game for four weeks and their last until Xmas, that £3,900 has already gone.

At this rate, the council will be lucky to get an Xmas card off them this month!

You’ve not included the collection tins….

Tins ?

Buckets.
(They've borrowed them from big swamp but they have to take them back for their home matches. They are then strategically placed around the shithole to catch the water pouring in from the roof.
This is then bottled by scruffy Jim and sold to the idiots as old trafford water.

As Hot Chocolate sang Everyone's a Winner Babe.

If you don’t believe M40’s version of the truth & want the full details of FCs financial mess & an update on the council’s agreement to structure the debts which they haven’t been able to pay off (despite what M40 will tell you) then you can watch along to the AGM from 11am today, any questions can be asked online either in person or by typing into the zoom chat. They’ll also be discussing the vote to charge £15 per adult or £300 for a season ticket although 50% of that is the donation so not subject to tax it starts at 11am & is available here

Any updates from their AGM ?

Yeh the board have nicked all the money
They are skint, they even nicked the collection buckets

Oh and Manchester council said it wasn't an issue. They weren't worried, they knew they'd never get it back.

Press Release from FCUM board

With Manchester City playing Salford City in the FA Cup, this brings a conundrum for those of us who still follow United away from home (so as not to contribute to the Glazer’s coffers) and also like to watch Salford City because we still love Becks, Giggsy, Scholesy, Buttsy and the Nevillesys.

So we at FCUM have the perfect solution.
Pallet Park will host a live screening of the game (like we did for the cup final) so fans of Big Red and Salford can avoid giving money to City and the Glazer boys.
In turn this raises much needed revenue in our quest to repay the council what we owe them.
It will be £6 entrance and for those of you unable to attend, we are accepting “a suggested donation” of £22. The extra £16 will go towards buying some buckets to shake on the day as well as the Board Members Xmas party.
Please support YOUR club (and the Board Members Xmas party)

Any updates from their AGM ?
To sum it up, there was a lot of handwringing about why they don’t trust themselves around kids & won’t let anyone in the ground under the age of 16 without a parent or guardian.

The latest bucket shaking campaign (missing matches) launched last month has raised £10 grand, an impressive achievement that most non league clubs would be proud of & grateful for. Not fc united however, remember this season they also asked their have fans to “fund the foundations” & “boost the budget” on top of the donations they ask on top of the season ticket prices & moaned that this years 3 new kits haven’t sold in high enough numbers but now their board are moaning that only 40% of members have chucked in to the latest campaign & they all need to donate more. £10 grand in this latest shakedown, just before Christmas isn’t good enough, they need £20 grand for nothing.

Finally, some staff are voluntarily going without their wages, again just before Christmas as the club is so fucked. Only one member is asking where all the moneys gone seeing as our council graciously gave them a 2 year debt repayment holiday with our money.

Thank you.
Cannot seeing MCC (so therefore us Council Tax payers) getting any debt repaid.
These brazen shysters have no shame.
No doubt Manchester City and it's supporters on Blue Moon are despised for shining some light on their ridiculous financial state.
They are playing Blyth Spartans (one of the few teams below them) tonight.
Now this famous club, is seriously in the shite and unfortunately are struggling on and off the pitch...

I struggle with all of this (but thank you for posting)
Our latest rag liar said 500 pay on the door fans meant break even.
The latest (cough) bucket shake was because they didn't have any November fixtures and therefore no cash.
But, (there's always a but) later in the year these games will be played and therefore the thieves will have that money in the bank.
Any normal business would ensure that is all taken into account so they ride out the rough times.

So why the bucket shake ?
What is that 10k being used for ?
I'll bet it isn't for repaying the monthly direct debit to the council.
I think I've worked out what their name means.....
