We should just say to these clubs name your price.
We can't afford to be penny pinching when we have the squad at the threadbare state it is.
Even if we get Frimpong and Zubemendi in January it will improve us tenfold.

It’s not the players generally, it’s the clubs.Throwing money won't get the players to move midseason.
Players with release clauses therefore become more attractive.
Players still have a say in whether they want to make the move or not. On top of that we have to move someone on Besides that we probably need the extra cash for the summer rebuild. Best scenario is to get them to commit for next season.It’s not the players generally, it’s the clubs.

To be fair, players always say they're committed to their club and not looking to move. Until someone waves a fat contract under their nose.And yet Frimpong (or club) has said he isn't moving just yet. You cannot force a player to move.

I think our approach to the upcoming window will largely depend on how we do in the next 5 or 6 games. If we don't improve over the next few weeks we will be 5 or 6 points off Top 4 and will have to throw the kitchen sink at it in January.you keep saying this and its bollocks.

He is very fast like Walker was, he is not the best defender like Walker was. But he can cross a ball!! It only makes sense if we go to back to classical wingers.
Doku or Frimpong right
Savio or (someone else) left
This would mean Grealish plays in the middle, as we arent doing cut inside wingers.
As a RB, I dont like it.
He can go wide and the winger come in, but he is too weak for the backline imo.
But it could work, as Pep might realize Stones is done and nobody can do that role.
So might as well just play 2 in the middle in rest defense or in possession.
It only makes sense if we go to back to classical wingers.
