Hey if they want out, I am all for it. However, they were at a party where they had a part in running up a tab so they gotta pay their share.

Funny enough though, it seems the majority doesn’t want that. They prefer statehood, which isn’t going to happen.

If Scotland were to leave, wouldn’t they have to take on some of the UKs debt?? It’s only fair, isn’t it?

You sent us packing but seemingly learnt nothing from us in the process about the perils of exceptionalism. Will be very interesting to see how well Trump leaning further into it serves the US in the years to come.

What’s the general feeling in America from both sides of the divide about the prospects of the new incoming government’s budgetary strategy of putting tariffs on a considerable percentage of the consumables coming into the country.

Will this be good for the average American?

Vice President Kamala Harris has become the first presidential candidate since 1932 to fail to flip a single county in the general election...The last time a presidential candidate failed to flip even a single county was during the Great Depression, a period marked by stark political divides.

Trump flipped 55 counties, about half have not voted for a Republican presidential candidate this century... two in South Texas had never voted for a Republican before.

At least 80 percent of all American counties shifted toward Trump and the Republicans.

Harris lost every swing state and Nevada which no Republican had won since 2004.

Reminder: a few days ago James Carville called for a total audit of the DNC and Harris-supporting super pac Future Forward. Carville claimed the total spent by the Harris campaign was actually 2.5 billion, in just over 100 days. Major Democrat fundraisers are furious. Democrats are worried that donors large and small are tapped-out and will not contribute to Democrats for the 2026 mid-terms.

The best hope for the Democrats is that Trump totally tanks the economy, pours gasoline on international conflicts, and rounds up tens of millions of Americans and murders them in extermination camps.
