The thing with McInnes is that he's far from blameless but he never appears to take responsibility. The lad Bainbridge who started at LB, he's on loan from Sunderland. Hasn't kicked a ball since August, not through injury but through management choice. All of a sudden he gets thrown in out of nowhere whilst our usual LB (Ndaba) continues to be some sort of central midfield expirement which isn't going very well. It's just no way to manage a player imo.

He done similar with Fraser Murray at home to Ange's Celtic a few seasons ago. Nowhere near the squad then all of a sudden he starts him out of position against them who were flying at the time, inevitable mistakes followed with confidence in tatters.

That aside, the football itself has been woeful for the majority of the season. I can only really say that we played very well in 2 games - ironically winning neither of them. St Mirren away in the red card/var debacle and Celtic at home.

Every other game the only tactic seems to be a long ball and hope to pick up loose headers from the opposition defence. Whether that's by design or a symptom of a midfield which doesn't show for the ball or move into the right areas I don't know but it needs fixed.
I never went last night so watched on TV. I switched on Killie TV and thought the commentary team were reasonably fair. They actually mentioned Bainbridge a few times and THEY actually thought he was lucky to still be on the park after a few rash challenges. Im
Pretty sure he was booked for the half rugby tackle in the middle of the park. He did seem to be getting a bit of a roasting

You know I rate Armstrong and Vassels but they were never in the game. The whole team need to be on the top of their game away to the Old Firm.

Just watched McInnes post match interview. Sounded like he had lost his voice .

Neither Aberdeen or Rangers are near Premier League quality.

Celtic in their current group would struggle.
It’s a completely unfair comparison. Every club gets £100 + million TV money.

Bournemouth signed SPFAs player of the year whilst playing in the Championship ( pretty sure they were in the second tier) , Salford signed Rooney from Aberdeen when a non league club. One of Scottish footballs top scorer

It’s like asking East Kilbride to survive in our top division without the financial benefit of playing at that level

Rangers have punched above their weight in Europe but Spurs and the Rags will absolutely destroy them with half a team

I'm meaning the way the squads are just now. Both Rangers and Aberdeen are absolutely miles off. Celtic closer and could perhaps survive but would be much closer to the bottom than the top.

You could make an argument for Auchinleck Talbot surviving in the premier league if they had access to £100m TV/sponsorship money or whatever.

One of my mates plays for Fraserburgh. Not only a trip to Ibrox but on the BBC too, he's absolutely buzzing. Easily the biggest day in the history of the club
I have family from there. My uncle taught at Fraserburgh Academy and the family followed them and Elgin City. Just a great draw for them and will mean so much financially for the club

Hope your mate has a great day out at Ibrox. Obviously not Berwick Rangers / Hamilton Accies great

I see the old firm and Motherwell are in trouble with the SPFL over their fans' use of pyrotechnics at Hampden last month....

We have to foot the bill for wee Fannies being wee Fannies

Then the Cup Final will be the same and the fine will be larger as it’ll count as a repeat offence

I'm assuming there's some "history" between them? Just looked on Google maps, they're not that close to each other geographically.

I have absolutely no idea of the context behind it. All I know is there was apparently quite a rammy on the pitch between the two sets of players at some point during the game, not sure if that's what prompted these tweets or if there's previous history there.

It will surprise absolutely nobody that knows Scottish football that Dick Campbell was involved : )))))

I noticed that Alan Trouten plays for East Fife. He’s a player who should have played at a far higher level but attitude and discipline have held him back. Very decent player and wouldn’t be surprised if he was involved

It’s taken you till now to realise this? After every game he blames something. Especially against us. Always an excuse. Always it wasn’t me. I hope he goes to Rangers. Another useless prick to them is what I’m after. He’s always sidestepped responsibility. He was hoping Waffler was elbowed by now. Now they are the best team ever again, doesn’t seem likely. A deflection and a keeper suicide mission has then 2 up. Still garbage to watch though, in a best team in the world ever, sort of way.
