get ready for PSR/FFP rule change where CWC monies cant count toward calculations
Same. I plan to be there. This is a one-off.Hope fans travel, sure South Americans will, fan interactions will be great.
KDB's contract ends mid tournament, so that will need to be resolved.Didn’t take long for the British Press to start recognising this as only one thing ….a vehicle to try and destabilise us. First report is headlines about Beckam wanting KDB next summer
Bit disappointing for me as I predicted the headline would have been about Pep
But I’m sure that will emerge when Pep meets Becks in Miami during the tournament
I hope the football is more exciting than the draw. It seems the ruling bodies are trying to bore the shit out of everyone before a ball is kicked in anger, in future I will just wait for the draw for any competition to appear on here before suffering the mind numbing bore fest presented yesterday. That's exactly what it is. The entitled mob aren't at the party so them and their media sycophants have taken their ball home.
Why shouldn't there be a competition for clubs around the world? We have no reason whatsoever to be loyal to the scumbag organisation that is UEFA. There is life outside Europe.
It beggars belief that, after all these years, some of our fans lament the fact that competitions make money. My criticism of the CWC in the past is that it hasn't been serious enough. That tournament in Saudi Arabia last year was not befitting of a competition that brings the world's successful clubs together. This one goes a lot further and should be a great spectacle. If you're going to do it, do it 'proper'.
Same any draw, the FA Cup one was bad enough, asking every single club manager/owner/player "what does it mean for the club".I hope the football is more exciting than the draw. Im watching the draw again on TV as was on my laptop and did not give me a proper take on it all.I hope the football is more exciting than the draw. If we are out of the CL we will be grateful for the money. This new format is worth £50m for showing up and £100m if you win it.
It's essentially a whole year of Champions League revenue for a few games against minnows and a couple of competitive fixtures. I can see why clubs jumped at it.
I’m talking the BBC in general. I’ve no need to read the particular article as I understand how the competition works and I also know that the BBC use AI to generate some of their articles and don’t fact check the results.I'm not sure which bit of the article you think isn't fact based?

Spot-on. Our enemies in the English media are already putting a negative spin on the Club World Cup as another way of slagging us off, instead of supporting the two English teams (City and Chelsea) who qualified by winning the CL. The media never seem to complain about England's pub league matches. That's exactly what it is. The entitled mob aren't at the party so them and their media sycophants have taken their ball home.

If my health holds up (a big if at present) I am hoping to get over there. This event is only once every four years and will eventually become as important as the CL. A billion pound broadcast deal has guaranteed that. It will generate a huge global TV audience and be taken seriously by the likes of Real Madrid,, Bayern, and River Plate.Hope fans travel, sure South Americans will, fan interactions will be great.
Juventus V City is pretty big for a group match.I hope the football is more exciting than the draw. If the football is anything like the draw it will be a monumental disaster.Im watching the draw again on TV as was on my laptop and did not give me a proper take on it all.
If the footballs as mental as the draw its going to be ace.
Someones just told me the Black guy doing the draw was Cubillas, what a player he was.
Hopefully it will be a great game, it certainly won't be a bigger bore fest than the draw itself.Juventus V City is pretty big for a group match.

Hope you get over and have a great time, I wonder though how much our so-called media will treat it with no red tops being there. If my health holds up (a big if at present) I am hoping to get over there.
