Expecting temperatures to plummet after midnight when the wind start blowing from the north.

We've had the same tonight FFS, never seen them like this though, we normally get a text, an email, a landline call and a mobile call, usually about 3.00 in the morning. We get them because our work unit is on the flood plain.

Lucky you (not) where are you flying in from? landed at Manchester from Munich a good few years ago and it was scary, first try I thought we were going to be blown off the runway.

Flying in from Florida.Arrived in October on the eve of a hurricane now it’s an Atlantic storm.

Been without the power since just after 11 last night. God knows when it'll be restored. I'm guessing that there's a lot of people without power now. It's been wild down here. The road is covered with debris (twigs, small branches etc). I thought Bert was bad a couple of weeks ago, this has been worse.
