Expecting temperatures to plummet after midnight when the wind start blowing from the north.

We've had the same tonight FFS, never seen them like this though, we normally get a text, an email, a landline call and a mobile call, usually about 3.00 in the morning. We get them because our work unit is on the flood plain.

Meant to be going to visit eldest daughter at Uni in Chester tomorrow and take in their markets as they're meant to be nice. Might just stay here and wait for the stalls to come to us...

Getting a bit blowy now. And, of course, rain. Have trouble sleeping when there's a storm blowing. So I'll be watching the cricket. Until the power goes, which it generally does in stormy weather.
