I became a hardcore fan (home and away every game) in November 2007 when we were in the North West Counties League (level 11 of the football pyramid) having moved to Salford a few years earlier. I had actually been at the ground a handful of times during the late 80's / early 90's when I lived in Chorlton and also went to see the club play at Old Trafford in 1971 in a Lancashire Amateur FA Cup final against Aintree Villa when they were known as Salford Amateurs. I went as a neutral but naturally enough cheered for Salford not knowing then that 36 years later I'd amass hundreds of games watching them and not missing any games for countless years.

There were half a dozen or so of your fans on the train back from Euston after our fa cup semi last season, maybe you were amongst them, seemed OK lads although I didn't get into conversation with them.

ESL110/111 are not premium, they are shit wet seats with shit views and shit acoustics.

All away fans should be shifted down there and City fans should always have SSL 3/2 & most of SSL1.

SSL 3/2 should never be allocated to away fans ...NEVER !!

You know what the first thing i'd do is.....theyd' be down in the shit seats,shit views,shit acoustics before you could say away fans.

City fans only in SSL3/2 & most of SSL1

Improved atmosphere,incresed capacity,increased footfall in Legends, no compromise of segregation,safety sight lines or coach park logistics.....and all at VERY little cost.

I could have it sorted in 30 working days.

Not been since the Crass of 92 got involved.
Have a mate who's a season ticket holder there who's buzzing about the match and sending me videos of the 'Dirty old town' song which I'm sure they'll be blasting out all game.
Glad for true Salford fans like him and I'll be drinking with him before the game, with the kick-off time I think we'll manage a good few.
He hopes they get the smaller allocation,
as he doesn't like the thought of thousands of fans being there who have probably never even been to their ground.
He sees it's as a special game for their club and one where the regulars should be rewarded, and that includes not letting every Tom dick and Harry get a ticket.

SS3 are the worst seats in the ground and priced that way. They are a different time zone.

I dont think anyone is even remotely surprised by their choices. Wouldnt have mattered who the Rags faced either, they would have been on BBC
