What makes you think he's more suited to Australian conditions, against their attack?

I honestly think he's bang average and quality quick bowlers will suss him out quickly. He's already been sussed imo. Swing a few away, bring the slips into play, then nip one back for bowled, LBW.

England in a great position currently. Let’s hope we don’t squander it. Realistically, we’ve got to be looking at a 400-450 lead from here. At the top end, that’s knocking on world record chasing territory for New Zealand.

On another note, I think it’s been a pretty mental 12 months of test cricket. Everyone seems to be beating everyone. A classic example is NZ. Lost a series in Bangladesh, won a series in India, and now staring down the barrel of a home series defeat to England!
