So Khawaja and Labuschagne batted for 239 balls, 40 full overs, and got 56 runs.

Not sure how that's helped Australia win this match at all.

Really bizarre. They're 119-3 off 52 overs. We were about 270-9 off the same! Somewhere in the middle is the right approach!

Fine to soak up a dangerous bowling spell but you have to try and score or the pressure builds and wickets are inevitable. The only hope would be that we tire and the older ball is easier to put away for their middle and lower order. But we're bowling well and the seamers don't look fatigued yet, they've still not had to bowl that many balls and it's not intense heat.

Please don't just bowl short to Head. His average in this series is showing he's comfortable with it on wickets of this pace. Bowl line and length and trust that to work.

As that brought a wicket as I wrote it, I'll just say Marsh has looked very dangerous and attacking this series so bowl some tempters and then get him with line and length.

They're not looking to win it, their aim is to not lose it and, therefore, win the series. Which they haven't done in England since 2001.

I don't think that's true mate. You don't come in to bat the 2nd innings on Day 1 and expect to draw the test match. They want to win this test, and so have looked to be patient and punish the bad ball. But we didn't bowl many of them and then they got bogged down. This partnership is key. Smith will rotate the strike, Marsh will be aggressive. Get one or both out and the Aussies are in real trouble.

Anderson been so unlucky but on pitches like this he will struggle to get wickets..

We get another 2 wickets here the Aussies slow over rate might bight them on there boring fcuking arse..

If we can get these 2 out before the new ball, we might get through the rest of them by close of play.
