But if a miracle happens and the club decides it might not be such a stupid idea to maybe have some options on the bench I think a loan would do him well. There is a player in him and he can become something. But right now with us it feels like he is getting worse every week. Playing regularly for a Leicester half a season or something could to wonders for him.

Wasn’t his best game today, but yet again he played in another position and we need to cut him some slack. Took his goal very well.

He's now obviously being targeted by other teams because he is made of spaghetti and it doesn’t need anything more than a draught as someone runs near him and he’s on his arse.

Given a fully fit squad, he wouldn’t be playing as much. This is doing him as much damage as it is good. He’s showing that he’s a utility player which is great, but because our manager and exec team have allowed us to go into a season with a small, ageing, injury prone squad they can’t pull him out for a breather because there’s nobody else to play.

Pep trusts him though. He always, always shows for the ball in any position under any amount of pressure. That is exactly what Pep likes.

Not his fault he is picked, but it was obvious that Palace saw him as a weak link and constantly hassled him.

Shortage of fit players certainly biting and forcing these kind of selections.

He fits in nicely with where we are currently as we are average.

He has some attributes I think and rescued a point for us so it wasn’t all bad. The positioning for their goal was poor but Pep sets the team up.

Agree that compared to recent seasons we're bang average currently, and we all agree there are several reasons why.
I applaud his effort, but he's nowhere near a starter once we correct the issues.

Zinchenko was taller at least and stronger, so he could tackle more and win aerial duels more and was a better defender, but Zinchenko also was a liability.

But he was great with the ball and I don't remember loosing him balls stupidly in our third like Rico did today or does in every game and therefore he was balancing his defensive weaknesses with great involvement in the second and final thirds of the pitch.

When Arsenal bought him, he was their main addition that summer, cause Jesus had injuries and with the addition of Zinchenko, they became a title contender team compared to the team they were year before, which was fighting for top4.

How people even dare and compare Rico to Zinchenko. in 18/19 he was flying and starting every game, because he was literally irreplaceable for us and in that season Zinchenko was also 20 years old. Pep had Danilo and could easily play him, it's not like this season, where Pep has to play Rico because we don't have other players due to injuries and still has was choosing Zinchenko because he was contributing a lot and was stable and efficient in every game.

And Rico is very very very far from being irreplaceable, literally it's a big relief that Pep won't play him next game and we will have 11 players capable to play decent football.

It's like Kolarov scoring free-kick goal out of 10 attempts in a game where we were loosing 2:0..

If we are talking about inverted fullback, he shouldn't be evaluated by goals. And he isn't scoring that much to forget the other things. When was the last time he scored the goal ? Yep, that's my point.

That's the purpose of this forum, so that we could post different ideas.

Anyone has freedom to shove his face in Rico's ass and I have a freedom to do otherwise and vice-versa.

Democracy and freedom of speech, that's the cornerstone of our society.

Democracy gives me freedom to say - Fuck Rico or anyone (Even though I don't hate the guy that much :D)
