No but one is ridiculously wrong
I'll admit there are glimpses in Doku which may become more consistent and telling in time.

Same can't be said for Lewis though, yet to see anything that makes me think he'll be a regular in a year's time.

Scored only two less than Cole Palmer had during his spell at City. And he was meant to be the player that got away.

Is he really giving his heart? Yeah he kisses the badge… but all I see is him jumping out the way and getting thrown off the ball too easy.

Midfield won 1/17 ground duels today, absolutely unforgivable. If you showed heart you would win more than 1.
He’s shown heart and performed in plenty of games previously. Pep wouldn’t pick him if he didn’t. He’s out of form at the minute, but so is the entire team.

A 20 year old being inconsistent, who’d have thought it. It’s the regular, seasoned players not performing that’s more worrying

By the end of this season he'll (I predict) have the same amount of senior goals for City as Cole Palmer did at the same age. When he's been played in midfield and been allowed to get into scoring positions he's found the net at a decent rate imo. It's only being played across the back constantly that's preventing him for upping his tally imo.
Needs to be played as a midfielder.

Palmer made about 35 appearances for City, where as Lewis has made his 82nd today from memory.

Not checked the minutes played, but I'd hazard a guess he's played at least 10 times as many minutes as Palmer did.

Once we get some more first team players with the right quality, I'd imagine he'll be a regular on the bench.

I think that's fair enough - Rico's definitely a squad player. A solid back-up utility player who should be operating closer to their goal than ours. I think, at his age, he excels as part of a functioning system but gets exposed in rocky moments for the other 10 lads. To be expected at this stage of his career. He'll bulk up a bit over the next three years and I think he'll be pretty handy by the time he matures. Doesn't have to be a legend or a starter, though. Every team needs its John O'Shea.

More to do with an appalling summer window for me.

I was happy with the business as we’ve never been undone with injuries like this. Now with hindsight Stones, Ake, Kovacic & KDB bodies are injury prone but normally covered by Dias, Akanji, Rodri, never being out.

Savio has been a huge disappointment but I think every players form has been hit by the skeleton of the team being out.

I thought he needed to be instantly world class and ready made. Well that’s according to some on here.

The expectation levels of young players on here are ridiculous. The same posters instantly wrote off palmer, delap and now Mcatee as soon as they have a poor performance
