OMG I just realized something.. I think we miss Julian Alvarez more than we realized, I mean on the surface we're missing his goals, but even when he wasn't on the scoresheet he would run around and press like a madman. And currently we have no one able to do that! A player is not just G/A stats!

It isn't entirely wrong. Our press looked awful last season at times, and Alvarez were one of the few able to actually give us some energy in that regard. Now it is obviously worse with him gone and no one to replace that energy.

But Julian Alvarez certainly isn't the answer to our woes in midfield, he was a awful midfielder. It is as simple as our midfield used to be world-class because we had world-class midfielders, now for various reasons they aren't anymore and we need to rectify that if we want to remain ambitious

Murillo to replace ake or stones and is only 22. He has potential to be a starter imo

Cunha back up to haaland but also can play in 10

Kudus starts rw: we lack goals from out wide and kudus would provide us goals. Also good age at 24.

Along with 2 first team cms we would be good to go

Not mad at the suggestions. How often do we buy players that are at the top of the game? We get players that are clearly great and have the potential. Pep then makes them world class.
 
Jon Tah and Kimmich both on frees in summer top pros and experienced heads. Improves us and allows us to splash our kitty on musiala or wirtz
