Same happened to me.

My paranoia kicked in wondering if it was because I put my email address in which is associated to my season ticket and they don’t want a ‘legacy fan’ winning this.

I think it's very unlikely they'll actually play in whatever kit this collaboration comes up with, it'll most likely be a warm up shirt like we do with the Chinese new year kits. It'll probably be just a way to get more people into the city store in NYC and drum up a bit of hype for the club getting involved with fashion brands.
