Stand against prices

The cheapest ticket I can see for City v Everton is £66.
A junior is £44.
Tim, Do you think that is a reasonable price ?
(12.30 k.o. limited public transport. No parking near the ground.)

Happy Christmas son, £110 let's hope we win.
I have sorted 2 £25 tickets for Everton and 1 £30 for the Derby for forum members in the last 48 hours. I have no choice but to buy my season card from City ((and that's fine) but I wouldn't buy individual home tickets or use the ticket exchange.

I hope we can stuff those rag fookers.

Very good that people sell for less than they have but its not really the point is it. The club are exploiting fans and pricing out fans they don’t want. I know we’re aren’t the only ones but it leaves a sour taste. I am pleased when there are empty seats and hope it continues because if it doesn’t they will just keep doing it.

The Club don’t sell to anyone who can’t afford the tickets. It’s not more targeted than that but they are likely to be more affordable to out and out tourists visiting say every few years.

I don’t like there to be empty seats particularly when the tickets have already been bought. It’s wasteful and a missed opportunity to get other Blues in the ground. Some empties aren’t the end of the world though.

I would probably join in a protest against season card hoarding that artificially pushes up ticket prices. i wouldn’t miss a game for this though.

I would give my ticket away when I can’t go to a city Charity for people who can’t afford football. How hard would that be for the club to set up? What I don’t like is selling it back to the club to then see them milk it for all it’s worth.

There’s always Blues wanting to go on Man City Face Value Tickets & Travel

I brought my lads up as Blues and Boxing Day, home or away was the match. .
(The poor sods got dragged to Wrexham.)
I pity any parent trying to give their kids a treat and they sure as hell all want to see Alfies lad but the fact is, I could not afford to take them to Everton

That’s a welcomed season ticket and match day price freeze next season.

Manchester City and Chelsea are in line to net summer windfalls of up to £60million - after Fifa signed a $1billion television deal with DAZN for the right to screen the Club World Cup.

Mail Sport understands that while no final decision has been made, both clubs have been told expect between £50m and £60m from their participation in the tournament, which takes place in the United States next year, after the game-changing agreement with the UK-based broadcaster last week.

Looks like they've knocked a fiver off the pricing for Everton since yesterday. Dynamic pricing in reverse? If you've bought at old price, demand a refund!
Are they not just now advertising it with the £5 Match-day membership knocked off? Which considering you can’t actually buy tickets without a Match-day membership, isn’t a discount anyway.

I was logged in under my ST membership yesterday when I heard the prices were £70+. A seat near me today now shows about a fiver cheaper. Whatever is happening, it's still shocking pricing.

Members can now buy up to four tickets per person for the Everton game on Boxing Day. Well done City you’ve really nailed this ticketing lark!!!

I think the guaranteed refund may bite them at this one, and they know it, expecting a few returns in the next 5 days.

just when you think they can’t fuck it up even more. First Boxing Day game for years and they have screwed it to the point anybody can buy 4 tickets - for a game that’s been ‘sold out’ for 4 months !!

Seriously, wtf are they doing to our support.

Some truth in what you say but there will be a lot of hard up regulars whom are off in their skiing holidays, who are returning tickets, as well as the loathsome ticket agencies.

I was critical of our executives yesterday because of the shoddy way I think our club is currently being run, in more ways than one, but was told I was talking rubbish, being silly and somebody even hinted I was a supporter of another team. We’ll never achieve anything constructive as a fanbase because too many people don’t see it as a problem.

Mine and my son’s season tickets are nowhere near these match day prices, so I’ll just become one of the many “I’m alright Jacks” amongst our supporter base and watch this frog boil.

You're right and the fans having a pop at your opinion were wrong mate.

My sister wanted to treat my niece (age 8) to her first men’s game near me in SS1.
She’s only been to the womens.

Looked into it as able to buy additional tickets but £66.00 & £38.00 at this time of year is not affordable.

They will have to wait til the new year now so that’s 2 fans priced out!
